So here are some factors that we considered as we were creating our gcal for our triad:

Privacy: Should my partners be able to see what I'm doing all the time, or just see free/busy information? (For us - we share a lot of information)

What we talked about doing, but couldn't seem to figure out, was how to make it so each of us would have an individual calendar that would feed into the triad one. Instead, we *all* use the triad calendar as if its a personal one, and one of us who is in classes put all of his classes in a separate calendar so we can toggle that on and off. Yes, that makes for a lot of things on our calendars, and sometimes careful reading.

Jealousy: What if two of us are doing something, and not the other one - does that go on the calendar? (For us - yes.)

Safety: My preference is that we use the google calendar to keep track of things like flight numbers, where our dates are, etc.

Time Zones: I am regularly extremely confused by the time zone problem, even though in theory gcal makes it easy for me because everyone's appointments show correctly in MY time zone.

Sharing: If we put exams, big deadlines, etc, on the calendar, are the other partners responsible for knowing them and being supportive, or should we ask for separate support?

Things we are still working out:

What do we do if one person changes their plans that day? Should we change the calendar to reflect that? Convenience says no, safety says yes.
